Pork Chops Piquant

Ingredients

  1. 1 tsp. butter
  2. 2 pork chops (1 inch thick, with fat removed)
  3. seasoned salt
  4. garlic powder
  5. cumin to taste
  6. 1/2 c. chopped green onions
  7. 1 can (7 oz.) green chili salsa
  8. 1/4 c. plain yogurt

Directions

  1. Heat butter in frying pan.
  2. Season chops with salt, garlic powder and cumin.
  3. Brown chops.
  4. Add green onions and saute.
  5. Add green chili salsa.
  6. Cover pan and simmer 1 hour or until tender. Stir in yogurt.
  7. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
  8. Makes 2 servings.
