Noodles And Cabbage



  1. 1/2 lb. egg noodles
  2. 4 c. cabbage, shredded
  3. 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  4. pinch of caraway seed
  5. salt and pepper to taste
  6. 2 Tbsp. butter
  7. sour cream, if desired


  1. Saute onion in butter until soft but not browned; add fresh cabbage, caraway seed, salt and pepper.
  2. When cooked, mix with noodles which have been prepared according to package directions and set aside.
  3. When served, add a dollop of sour cream, if desired.
