Buffet Beans

Ingredients

  1. 2 cans French-style green beans
  2. 8 slices bacon
  3. 1/2 c. vinegar
  4. 1/2 c. sugar
  5. raw onion rings

Directions

  1. Heat green beans
  2. in
  3. their liquid.
  4. Meanwhile, fry the bacon until crisp.
  5. Remove
  6. bacon from skillet and to the fat, add vinegar and
  7. sugar.
  8. Drain beans and arrange in casserole. Top with
  9. onion
  10. slices
  11. and
  12. crumbled bacon; pour
  13. vinegar mixture over beans and
  14. let
  15. stand 3 to 4 hours.
  16. Warm before serving.
