Vegetarian "Meat" Balls

Ingredients

  1. 1 pkg. tofu (firm or hard)
  2. 1 1/2 c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1 onion
  5. 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
  6. 1/2 c. fresh parsley, minced

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 to 2 tablespoons light oil.
  3. Form mixture into balls. Saute balls in skillet until light brown.
  4. Add to marinara sauce or sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve with pasta.
