- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef/turkey
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes and juice
- 1 (14 oz.) can kidney beans and juice
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 (14 oz.) can corn and juice
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 to 2 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
- grated cheese (optional)
- Brown beef in large, heavy kettle; drain fat.
- Add onion and cook and stir until onion is tender.
- Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes.
- Serve with sprinkle of grated cheese on top, if desired.
