Deluxe Pot Roast

Ingredients

  1. 4 to 6 lb. boned beef rump roast
  2. 2 tsp. salt
  3. 1/4 tsp. pepper
  4. 1/2 pt. sour cream
  5. 1 Tbsp. flour
  6. 3/4 c. dry red wine
  7. 1 medium onion, minced

Directions

  1. Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper.
  2. Brown on stove top on all sides, about 15 minutes.
  3. Chop onion and sprinkle over roast. Combine sour cream and flour.
  4. Pour over roast.
  5. Add wine.
  6. Cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
