Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  1. 6 qt. popped corn
  2. 1/2 lb. oleo
  3. 2 c. brown sugar
  4. 1/2 c. dark syrup
  5. 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  6. 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

  1. Boil oleo, brown sugar, dark syrup and cream of tartar together for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Mix well and pour over popped corn and put in oven for 1 hour at 250°.
  3. Stir once or twice while cooking.
