- 6 qt. popped corn
- 1/2 lb. oleo
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. dark syrup
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- Boil oleo, brown sugar, dark syrup and cream of tartar together for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Mix well and pour over popped corn and put in oven for 1 hour at 250°.
- Stir once or twice while cooking.
