Honey Nut Granola

Ingredients

  1. 2 1/2 c. quick oats (uncooked)
  2. 1/2 c. sunflower seeds or any chopped nuts
  3. 1/3 c. honey
  4. 1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
  5. 1/4 c. unprocessed bran or wheat germ
  6. 1 tsp. cinnamon
  7. 1 tsp. vanilla
  8. 1/2 c. raisins, chopped dried apricots or dates

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients, except raisins; mix well.
  2. Bake in lightly greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan for 20 to 25 minutes at 325°, stirring occasionally.
  3. Stir in raisins.
  4. Spread mixture onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Cool.
  6. Store in airtight container in a cool, dry place, or in refrigerator.
  7. Makes about 6 cups.
