Pork Barbecue For Buns

Ingredients

  1. 3 lb. pork butt roast, well cooked
  2. 1 large onion, chopped fine
  3. 1 green pepper, chopped fine
  4. 1 small bunch celery, chopped fine
  5. 1 Tbsp. dry mustard
  6. 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  7. 2 Tbsp. sugar
  8. 1 tsp. salt
  9. 2 tsp. mixed whole spices
  10. 1 bottle catsup

Directions

  1. To chopped vegetables, add mustard, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
  2. Put spices in a cloth bag tightly tied, so that spices will not spill out.
  3. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Add the cooked roast pork, cut fine, and catsup.
  5. Allow to simmer a while. Can be made ahead and reheated over low heat.
