Ham And Shrimp Casserole

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 c. chopped onions
  2. 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  3. 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  4. 1 c. wild or other rice
  5. 2 c. water
  6. 2 beef bouillon cubes
  7. 1 bay leaf
  8. 2 c. diced ham
  9. 2 c. cut up shrimp
  10. 1 can shrimp soup
  11. 1/2 c. milk
  12. potato chips or buttered bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Bring water to boil, add beef cubes and bay leaf.
  2. When cubes are dissolved, add rice and cook until done.
  3. Remove bay leaf. Brown onion and pepper in butter.
  4. Combine these with rice and remaining ingredients.
  5. Pour into a greased casserole. Cover with crumbled potato chips or buttered bread crumbs and bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
