Coconut Macaroon

Ingredients

  1. 1/3 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
  2. 2 1/2 c. shredded coconut
  3. 1/8 tsp. salt
  4. 2/3 c. sweetened condensed milk
  5. 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease a cookie sheet well.
  3. Mix flour, coconut and salt together in a bowl.
  4. Pour in condensed milk and vanilla.
  5. Stir well to
  6. make thick batter.
  7. Drop batter by quarter cupfuls onto the well-greased cookie sheet, allowing an inch of space between cookies.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen macaroons.
