End Of Garden Pickles

Ingredients

  1. 1 c. sliced cucumbers
  2. 1 c. sweet pepper
  3. 1 c. chopped cabbage
  4. 1 c. sliced onion
  5. 1 c. green tomatoes
  6. 1 c. chopped carrots
  7. 1 c. green beans
  8. 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  9. 1 c. chopped celery
  10. 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
  11. 2 c. vinegar
  12. 2 c. sugar

Directions

  1. Soak cucumbers, pepper, cabbage, onion and tomatoes in salt water overnight (1/2 cup salt to 2 quarts water).
  2. Cook beans and carrots until tender; drain water off.
  3. Add soaked vegetables and cooked vegetables together with other ingredients; boil 10 minutes.
  4. Can while hot.
