Cheese Meltaways



  1. 6 English muffins, split
  2. 1/4 lb. margarine, softened
  3. 1 jar Kraft Old English cheese spread
  4. 1 (2.5 oz.) can real bacon bits (jar)
  5. 2 oz. cream cheese, softened
  6. 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  7. 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt


  1. Blend all ingredients and spread on muffin halves.
  2. Cut each into quarters and freeze on a cookie sheet.
  3. Transfer to a plastic bag and keep frozen until ready to use.
  4. Place desired amount on cookie sheet under broiler and cook until cheese is bubbly and brown.
  5. Serve hot.
