No Cook Bread And Butter Pickles

Ingredients

  1. 3 lb. cucumbers, washed and sliced
  2. 1 lb. onions, sliced thin
  3. 1 green pepper, chopped or sliced
  4. 1 sweet red pepper, chopped or sliced
  5. 2 c. cider vinegar
  6. 3 1/2 c. sugar
  7. 1/4 c. salt

Directions

  1. Combine in a bowl cucumbers, onions, green and red peppers; mix well.
  2. In a saucepan combine vinegar, sugar and salt.
  3. Stir until dissolved, pour over cucumber mixture and mix well.
  4. Put in jars, pour leftover juice over cucumbers.
  5. Cover and let stand for 1 hour, then refrigerate.
