Enchiladas

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  2. 1 pkg. (8 to 10) tacos
  3. 1 c. tomato puree
  4. 1 1/2 c. water
  5. 1/2 c. chopped onion
  6. 1 large garlic
  7. 2 Tbsp. lard
  8. 1 Tbsp. flour
  9. 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  10. 1/2 Tbsp. oregano
  11. 1/2 Tbsp. cumin
  12. 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Fry garlic and onion in lard until browned.
  2. Add flour, tomato puree, water, chili powder, oregano and cumin.
  3. Simmer 15 minutes.
