Roast Pheasant

Ingredients

  1. 2 pheasants
  2. 2 Tbsp. butter
  3. salt and pepper
  4. 1 c. cooking sherry or white wine
  5. 1 large bunch white grapes

Directions

  1. Brown pheasant in butter in Dutch oven or iron skillet.
  2. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place in a small roaster or leave in a Dutch oven.
  4. Add grapes and wine.
  5. Cook at 350° for 1 1/2 hours, covered.
