Baked Ham Slice



  1. 1 large slice ham (1/2 to 3/4-inch thick)
  2. 1/4 c. brown sugar
  3. 2 tsp. dry mustard
  4. milk (to nearly cover)


  1. Mix the brown sugar (loosely packed) and dry mustard together. Place the ham slice in a 2-inch deep baking dish or a cast-iron skillet.
  2. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and dry mustard. Pour enough milk around the ham to come nearly to the top.
  3. Bake at 350° for about an hour.
  4. Has a wonderful flavor.
