- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. raw peanuts
- 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- Mix together sugar, syrup and peanuts.
- Cook over medium heat until syrup spins a thread.
- Cook until a golden brown. Take off stove and stir in soda. Work quickly.
- Spread on flat buttered dish. Cool and break into pieces.
