Stuffed Green Peppers



  1. 1 pkg. sausage
  2. 4 slices cubed bread
  3. 3 small onions
  4. 1/2 c. ketchup
  5. 2 green peepers


  1. Mash sausage and cook with onions until brown.
  2. Put onion and sausage mixture in bowl.
  3. Do not drain. Break bread into pieces. Put most of bread into sausage mixture.
  4. Save remaining bread for top.
  5. Add ketchup.
  6. Dip remaining bread pieces in grease from sausage mixture.
  7. Set aside.
  8. Boil green peppers until tender. Fill with stuffing.
  9. Set oven at 350 degrees, leave approximately 1 inch water in pan.
  10. Bake until bread crumbs are brown.
