- 2 (16 oz.) cans sliced peaches, drained
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. milk
- Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan; place peaches in bottom of pan and sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside.
