Spoon Butter Rolls
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 c. very warm water
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 c. flour (self-rising)
- Dissolve yeast in two cups warm water.
- Melt butter and sugar together.
- Add beaten egg.
- Pour this mixture into water and yeast.
- Mix in flour.
- Drop by spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake 20 minutes at 400°.
- These rolls do not have to rise because the key is the self-rising flour.
