Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 c. sifted flour
  2. 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  3. 1/2 tsp. salt
  4. 1/2 c. sugar
  5. 1/2 c. milk
  6. 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  7. 1 1/2 c. drained peaches
  8. 1/2 c. sugar
  9. 2 Tbsp. butter
  10. 2 c. fruit juice

Directions

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. Add milk and melted butter to dry ingredients; stir until smooth.
  3. Spread in greased baking pan, 12 x 8 x 2-inches.
  4. Spread sliced peaches or your favorite fruit over batter in pan.
  5. Bring sugar, butter and juice to a boil; pour over fruit.
  6. Bake, uncovered.
  7. Sauce will be in bottom of pan.
  8. Serve warm.
  9. Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes. Serves 8.
