Pumpkin Squares

Ingredients

  1. 1 c. flour
  2. 1/2 c. quick oats
  3. 1/2 c. brown sugar
  4. 1/2 c. margarine
  5. 1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
  6. 1 (13 1/2 oz.) evaporated milk
  7. 2 eggs
  8. 3/4 c. sugar
  9. 1 tsp. cinnamon
  10. 1/2 tsp. ginger
  11. 1/4 tsp. cloves
  12. 1/2 c. walnuts
  13. 1/2 c. brown sugar
  14. 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

  1. Combine flour, oats, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup butter in bowl.
  2. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Press into greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
  4. Combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar and spices in mixing bowl.
  5. Beat well.
  6. Pour into crust.
  7. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
  8. Combine nuts, brown sugar and butter.
  9. Sprinkle on top.
  10. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until filling is set.
