Carrot Cake

Ingredients

  1. 2 c. flour, sifted
  2. 1 tsp. soda
  3. 1 tsp. salt
  4. 2 c. sugar
  5. 1 tsp. cinnamon
  6. 1 1/2 c. oil
  7. 4 eggs
  8. 2 c. grated carrots
  9. 1 c. nuts

Directions

  1. Place dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
  2. Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
  3. Bake in well-greased and floured pans.
  4. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from pans and cool.
  6. Makes 2 (9-inch) or 3 (8-inch) layers.
