Vegetable-Burger Soup

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 lb. ground beef
  2. 2 c. water
  3. 1 tsp. sugar
  4. 1 pkg. Cup-a-Soup onion soup mix (dry)
  5. 1 lb. can stewed tomatoes
  6. 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  7. 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables

Directions

  1. Lightly brown beef in soup pot.
  2. Drain off excess fat.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, frozen vegetables, soup mix and sugar.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve.
