Chicken Casserole

Ingredients

  1. 4 c. cooked chicken
  2. 1 c. chopped celery
  3. 1 c. cooked rice
  4. 3/4 c. mayonnaise
  5. 1 can cream of chicken soup
  6. 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  7. 3 Tbsp. chopped onion
  8. 3 hard-boiled eggs
  9. 1 can water chestnuts (optional)
  10. 3/4 to 1 stick butter
  11. 1/2 c. slivered almonds (optional)
  12. 1 c. crushed corn flakes

Directions

  1. Mix first nine ingredients.
  2. Saute 5 minutes butter, almonds and corn flakes.
  3. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
  4. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
