Taffy Apple Salad

Ingredients

  1. 1 large can crushed pineapple
  2. 2 c. miniature marshmallows
  3. 1 egg, well beaten
  4. 1 1/2 Tbsp. white vinegar
  5. 1/2 c. sugar
  6. 1 Tbsp. flour
  7. 1 c. finely chopped peanuts (salted)
  8. 1 large Cool Whip
  9. 2 c. diced unpeeled apples

Directions

  1. Drain pineapple.
  2. Save juice.
  3. Add 2 cups marshmallows.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Refrigerate overnight.
  6. Cook pineapple juice, 1 egg (well beaten), 1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon flour until thick.
  7. Will not be real thick.
  8. Refrigerate overnight.
