Sausages And Seashells



  1. 1 lb. small seashells pasta
  2. 8 Italian sweet sausages
  3. 3 Tbsp. olive oil or margarine
  4. 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  5. 1 garlic clove, minced
  6. 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  7. 1 large can tomatoes, chopped
  8. 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce


  1. Prick the sausages with a sharp fork, cover with cold water and bring to a boil.
  2. Simmer, uncovered, about 10 minutes; drain and dry.
  3. Slice in rounds.
  4. Heat the oil in a skillet and add the sausage, onion, garlic and parsley.
  5. Cook, stirring often, until meat and vegetables are golden brown, then add tomatoes and tomato sauce.
  6. Simmer covered while you prepare pasta.
  7. Drain pasta and mix with sausage and sauce.
