Coconut Pecan Frosting

Ingredients

  1. 1 c. evaporated milk
  2. 1 c. sugar
  3. 3 slightly beaten egg yolks
  4. 1/2 c. butter
  5. 1 tsp. vanilla
  6. 1 1/3 c. Angel Flake coconut
  7. 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Mix together first 5 ingredients.
  2. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes.
  3. Add coconut and pecans. Cool until thick enough to spread, beating occasionally.
  4. Makes 2 1/4 cups.
